Sehensucht is a cinematic essay on stillness.

For two years, filmmaker Marleen van der Werf has been exploring her fear of, and longing for the void of stillness.
Sehensucht is her cinematographic observation of nature
As a response to the pornification of the natural world in wildlife film.

The project is part of the Teledoc Campus and currently in production with support of the Dutch Film Fund, Mediafonds, Cobo Fonds, Dutch Mountain Film Productions and Wild Work Productions.
